  1. Tame will speed up many programs when you are using a multi-tasking 
  2. environment.  It has direct support for DESQview, Double Dos, Omniview, 
  3. Topview and VM/386.

  18. If you are upgrading from version 2.2:

  21. This version has a few more options, and provides better timing statistics.  
  22. To run with the same parameters as the version 2.2 defaults, specify 
  23. /KeyIdle, but this is not recommended in DESQview 2.26 if the task will
  24. spend a lot of time waiting at a DOS prompt.

  30. This version has many new options, making Tame even more effective at
  31. reducing Multi-tasking overhead.  To run with the same parameters as 
  32. the version 2.1 defaults, specify /Max:3,2 /KI:0

  38. You may need to use the new /INT15 option with some programs.  Since
  39. this has been found to lock up some machines, it is no longer the
  40. default.

  43. If you are upgrading from version 1.x:

  46.   1. Place the appropriate TAME-RES and TAME command in your DV window 
  47.      startup .BAT file (or run the program with TAME-RUN.BAT)

  49.   2. Remove or modify special BAT files calling the previous TAME
  50.  
  51.   3. Delete the TAME and TAMEPATH environment values if you used them
  52.
